HCG: Rapid Weight loss diet

What is the HCG Diet?

At Performance Medicine, We’ve had over thousands of patients lose weight safely on our HCG program.  The majority of our patients are able to successfully maintain their weight loss as long as a healthy, well-balanced diet and exercise is maintained. 

HCG is an old diet, gaining new popularity.  It targets the abnormal fat which your body does not use as fuel. Our bodies, according to the researcher and founder of the diet, Dr. Simeons, have three types of fat: structural fat, normal  fat, and abnormal fat. The abnormal fat, which our bodies put away and do not use, is the fat we want to get rid of but find it difficult to do so.  By injecting the HCG once daily and eating a very low calorie diet of 500 calories, you will see significant weight loss.  While the first week may be challenging while you are learning the program and adjusting to 500 calories, you are rewarded with the greatest amount of weight loss.  You will continue the program for 26 days or up to 40 days or 34 pounds have been lost. After the 26-40 days you will then be able to eat more; however, sugar and starches are eliminated.  After a three week transition period, you will then be free to enjoy a nutritious and healthy lifestyle without fear of gaining the weight back. Some patients may find that they will need a second round of the HCG protocol. This will occur 6 weeks later, as to not build up an immunity to the HCG.

The average 26-day weight loss for women is 15 to 20 pounds.  With men, it's 20 to 25 pounds.
