Exercise is the MOST IMPORTANT thing you can do for your mind and body! Dr. Rogers passionately believes in the power of exercise to transform your health and energy level. Get some form of exercise DAILY.  A high intensity workout is best, even for short intervals of time.  If you can't do that you should find something easier that fits your lifestyle.  Walking is excellent.  Lift some light weights (muscle burns fat) 3 times a week.  Switch up your exercises and make it fun!  Your body was meant to move!

As we get older, 3 components of exercise need to be emphasized: strength, stamina, and flexibility. These components will be achieved in a balanced exercise program which include:

  1. Aerobic Training
  2. Strengthening/Weight Training
  3. Flexibility Training - yoga and stretching
